The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has opened entries for the Environmental Photography Award 2027 — and this one is free to enter.
Open to photographers 18 and over, professional or amateur, the award spans five categories: Ocean, Forests, Polar Regions, Changemakers, and Humanity vs Nature. Each category winner receives €1,000, and the grand prize winner takes home €5,000 plus a trip to Monaco for the exhibition opening. There are also €500 Public Award and Students’ Choice prizes.
Thirty-six selected photographs will be exhibited in Monaco in summer 2027 and published in an accompanying book — real wall space, not just a webpage.
Entries are submitted through fpa2photoaward.org (via Photocrowd). Note: AI-generated images are not accepted, so this one is for camera work only.
Deadline: November 1, 2026. If you have strong environmental work sitting on a hard drive, this is a free shot at €5,000 and a Monaco exhibition.
