The FIBA Foundation’s photo contest is back for its 10th edition — and this year it adds three dedicated categories: Elite Basketball, Community Basketball, and Vintage Basketball (dig out your archives: historical shots through the early 2000s qualify). Entry is free and open worldwide, up to five images, AI-generated images not allowed.
Each category winner gets CHF 2,000 (~$2,400) in photography equipment, publication in the FIBA Photo Book 2026, and features across FIBA’s channels. One of the three winners is named FIBA Shot of the Year and scores a five-day photographer experience at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 in Qatar — travel and accommodation included.
