The Concrete in Life 2026/27 global photography competition has opened for entries. Now in its eighth year, the competition — run by the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) — celebrates how concrete supports, connects and enriches societies around the world.
Entry is free and open to everyone, worldwide: professionals, amateurs, and anyone shooting on a smartphone. Tens of thousands of entries are expected.

- Best Overall photo: US$10,000
- Each category winner: US$2,500
- People’s Vote (chosen by the public from the Q1 2027 shortlist): US$5,000
CATEGORIES
- Urban and Infrastructure — buildings and infrastructure in cities and rural areas, above and below ground
- Concrete in Daily Life — the human side of concrete and how it’s used and interacted with daily
- Concrete Beauty and Design — capturing the beauty of concrete in a striking visual way, at any scale
